Regeneration for repeat use
Orange gel can be dried and reused. Heat it typically at 110-130 °C until the orange colour returns fully; do not push the temperature higher, because the organic indicator is more heat-sensitive than the silica itself. Spread beads in a shallow tray, cool them in a sealed container, and expect a small capacity loss per cycle. Sachets should only be regenerated if the sachet material is suitable for the oven.
